Tribute Sarah's funeral was a marvellous, moving and very personal event - and a tour de force by you and both families. A fitting tribute David Burgner I have just got home from picking the kids up after Sarah’s wonderful service today. I wish I could have come back to your home for a drink but unfortunately my motherly duties didn’t allow it. But I just wanted to let you know what an amazing service it was today and how very pleased I think Sarah would have been with it. You really did her proud - well done. Thank you for allowing us to part of it, I truly feel privileged to have been there today. I mentioned to your dad that people like me spend a lot of my time searching for people like her as that is the sort of person I want to associate with – in my experience, people like her are far and few between …….she sure was stoked on her wedding day, jumping out of her skin happy (alas, little did she know at the time, that your promises of a life of leisure resulting from your earnings as a professional golfer, would not eventuate J), loved her wedding dress and that shot of her stepping out of the car is a beautiful shot indeed – quite inspiring really. Ramesh Anbanantham Tuesday was a tremendous and beautiful celebration of Sarah and her life and your lives together, everyone did a fantastic job, a truly fitting service. We both really appreciated being there. Philip and Helen Hi Steve, thank you for welcoming us all in your home last Tuesday. Sarah's funeral was a very important event for us and you organised a beautiful tribute for a beautiful person. Karen Simmer Dear Steve, thank you for allowing me to be part of the most memorable ‘Levee de Deuil’ celebration of a life. You and your family did a wonderful job and I have no doubt that Sarah smiled broadly all day. Let us carry on with the burdening privilege of our fortunate lives, stronger for having crossed or shared paths with supremely decent people. I look forward to our future outings. All the best, Martin Dear Steve, last Tuesday was the most memorable day I have had ever had and will remain with me forever. It was a wonderful tribute to Sarah’s life and I thought that your speech was excellent. How you got through that, I don’t know; you amazed me and you certainly did Sarah proud. Take care Love Aunt Doreen Dear Steve, I was awake at exactly 6.30am here last Tuesday, and spent the day clock watching, imaging how your day was going. I’ve read all the Readings made during the service – brilliant every last one. Sarah would have been so proud of you, and Livi. The website is also a wonderful tribute to Sarah – I’ve looked at it every single day since she left and read the condolences over and over.
